The EU Nations Men 2025 tournament delivered three days of intense international water polo, bringing together ten national teams for a competitive conclusion to this year’s EU Nations series. The event featured a demanding group stage followed by decisive placement matches, with teams tested across multiple high-tempo encounters.
Following the group phase, the tournament progressed into classification matches on Sunday, where final positions were decided. Lithuania emerged as the overall winner after a tightly contested gold medal match against Slovakia, securing the title with a 17:14 victory. Slovakia finished second, while Great Britain claimed the bronze medal after defeating Sweden in the third-place match.
Several standout individual performances were recognized at the conclusion of the tournament. The Most Valuable Player award went to Jan Bakulo from Lithuania, whose consistent influence was key to his team’s success. Great Britain collected two further honors, with Thomas Manley named Best Goalkeeper and Daniel Robert Paddon finishing as the tournament’s Top Scorer after recording an impressive 23 goals across five games.
The tournament once again underlined the competitive balance and growing depth of men’s water polo within the EU Nations framework, offering valuable international experience for both established and developing teams.
