Germany secures EU Nations Junior Women 2025 title

The EU Nations Junior Women 2025 tournament, held from November 28 to 30, brought three days of dynamic and closely contested matches between six European U18 teams. Hosted at the Lužánky Municipal Swimming Stadium, the event showcased emerging talent from across the continent and concluded with Germany finishing at the top of the standings.

All teams competed in a round-robin format, each playing five matches over the course of the tournament. Germany secured first place with 14 points, demonstrating consistency in both regular-time victories and high-pressure moments. Czechia followed in second place with 12 points, while the British Hawks completed the podium with a strong third-place finish.

Individual performances were also recognized at the conclusion of the event. Rebeka Jančeková (Slovakia) earned the Top Scorer award with 19 goals, the same number scored by Switzerland’s Amy Nussbaumer. The award ultimately went to the Slovak player as she met the tournament’s age-based criteria. Emilia Khimil (Germany) was named Most Valuable Player, and Kaila Saltman (British Hawks) received the award for Best Goalkeeper.

Beyond the results, the tournament provided valuable competitive experience for all participating teams, highlighting the continued development of junior women’s water polo across Europe.
