European water polo returns to Brno, this time featuring the women's junior competition. From November 28–30, Lužánky will host another edition of the EU Nations Junior Women tournament for the Under-18 category, showcasing six strong teams from across Europe.
The participating teams include Czechia, Slovakia, Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, and the strong British Hawks from Great Britain. This diverse lineup promises a well-balanced and dynamic set of matches. In the previous edition of the tournament, the gold medal was won by the English team, with Czechia securing silver and Slovakia finishing third.
The tournament will be played using a single-group format, where all six teams will compete against each other in a round-robin format over three days. Each team will thus play a total of 5 matches.
The matches will commence on Friday, November 28, with the opening game at 9:20 between Slovakia and Scotland. The Czech national team will make their tournament debut in the second match of the day at 10:50 against Germany. The third match of the day will feature Switzerland taking on British Hawks at 12:20. The tournament program will conclude with the Slovakia–Czechia match on Sunday at 11:20.
All matches will be streamed live on the Czech Water Polo YouTube channel, with full schedules and results available at eunwp.eu. A complete photo gallery from the event will be shared on Flickr.
